Managing stress and wellbeing at work conference
Managing Stress, HR ConferenceLink: http://www.red-tc.com/
Acas and Red Training and Consultancy have joined in partnership to deliver this unique event: an innovative and practical insight into managing stress and wellbeing at work.
About
Recent evidence suggests that 2 out of 5 employees suffer from work related stress (with 13.5 million work days lost each year as a result). At a personal level, each of us will be able to identify times when we have been overwhelmed by stressful situations either at work or at home, or both.
...
Whatever the cause of stress, the result is a major impact on day to day life coupled with lower productivity for business. This session will commence at 10am and finish at 3.30pm (lunch provided) and is jointly presented by Steve Hallett of Red Training and Consultancy and Paul Beard, Area Director, Acas South East England.Red Training will take you through their unique 360° approach to managing stress and explain how similar training provided to all employees can be implemented cost effectively and with real benefit to the business.
Acas will explain the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Stress Management Standard approach and toolkit and how Acas assists workplaces in using them to produce an organisational response to managing the risk of stress affecting employees and business performance.
It is this blend of both organisational and individual stress management which makes the event unique.
