Peter Emelone has demonstrated the ability to work efficiently and have acted as an active part of various HR projects. His greatest asset gained whilst working within an HR environment is being responsible for advising and leading all HR issues falling within various organisations and being able to maintain a professional and effective relationship with CEOs, managers, directors and employees to support them in dealing with HR issues. Peter has also been involved in numerous, H&S, ER and HR projects and activities which are counted on to make recommendations to improve overall business operations.

By becoming an Ambassador, He will be joining a network of managers & leaders from various industry sectors, across all types of roles & levels that are united in their enthusiasm & passion for management & leadership as a profession & committed to the values & aims of the Chartered Management Institute in shaping the future.

The roles and responsibilities of an Ambassador are to passionately promote the need for management and leadership skills with individuals and organisations by undertaking the below roles within the specified sector(s):

• Presenting (keynote speaker/facilitating a workshop) at specified external conferences, events & seminars whilst commenting on key issues within the specified sector and the impact of good management & leadership

• Contributing to CMI’s PR strategy and activities by assisting CMI in providing quotes and representing CMI at various interviews (radio/TV/Newspapers). Also be willing to provide case studies on how CMI and good management & leadership has impacted on personal and organisational success

• Providing current case studies demonstrating levels of best practice through working with the educational sector – (Schools, FE & HE) in order to prepare the next generation of managers about the necessity to develop excellent management and leadership skills within the sectors

• Contributing to CMI’s Web 2.0 strategy and activities by being involved in writing blogs, contributing to ‘Ask an Ambassador’ and testing new online products

• Feeding back all ambassador activities to CMI to ensure that they are tracked back into the reporting systems and be eligible for the ‘ambassador of the month’ award and all ambassadors to receive recognition for all achievements by contributing to the monthly newsletter
